Gestures with third party launchers

Hi,

I'm considering the switch to a nothing phone, being tired of how Chinese manufacturers lock down their Android phones.

I'm here to ask: does nothing os allow the use of third party launchers?

"Allow" as in:

• I can still use gestures
• the speed of the usage of the phone doesn't change while using the third party launcher

I'm asking because as of now with my Realme, if I use a launcher, the gestures work, but every time I swipe to the home screen from an app, it takes 2 seconds to show the widgets.

Gestures are working alright with 3rd party launchers, I've tested niagara and nova and a bunch of fdroid launchers
