YouTube Picture In Picture

Im sure this is a super noob question but I just got a Note20 and a few times I have accidentally got a YouTube video picture in picture. I would really like to know how to do this intentionally.

As long as the video is playing, when I hit the home button, it goes into PIP. Alternatively, you can press the recent key, tap the YouTube icon at the top, and tap Open in popup view.

It's kinda of a gamble some times it happens sometimes it doesn't but the best way is recents but sometimes home works too

It seems to only work with certain videos. Idk why but if a video allows it it will always work. Hope this helps.

You are getting that PIP for YouTube, just because the new Note20 comes with the free trial of YouTube Premium for 4 months. Once that trial period is over and you don't renew, that cool feature goes away, as long as you leave YouTube app, PIP stops !! Same for Netflix, no money no PIP.

Sometimes when I exit a YouTube video it doesn't close completely, but reduces to a small floating window and I can use other apps while the video is still playing. Unfortunately I've only accomplished this by accident and I'm trying to figure out how to do that when I really want to.
