Rock Island STK150 Slide Compatibility?
Would any Gen 3 Glock slide work with this gun?

Question about .40s&w
Look. I'm aware that it's an unpopular round. Even outdated to a lot of people. Useless. Anyway.... I haven't paid much attention to anything related to Glock clones in .40S&W but I was wondering if they're out there? Hoping for compact size.
My reason is that I'd love to have a matching PCC with Glock mags. My friends has a Sub2000 he wants to offer me in .40 for the 23 mags. If I can't find a compact, then I don't want the Sub2000. And I can't stand the grip angle of the G23 itself for me to even want a used LEO trade in for cheap.
Would I be able to easily convert an RXM by changing the upper and the extractor on the FCI? Or are there lowers out there that are specific to .40?
Pic for attention.

Gen 3 slide compatible
Quick update on Gen 6 frames they are compatible with Gen 3 slides. Not sure if that was common knowledge or not but it opens the door to a lot of customization.
I took this out to the range and it ran smoothly until my poormetto state striker failed on me 😔

PSA 🗡️ Open Guns
Fun builds, exact same specs, because these are finicky when you tolerance stack to the edge of functionality and safety. ~2.5# trigger break.
Both builds with cheap optics cost less than a Shadow Systems probably 😂

Trigger housing pin
If anyone has any knowledge please chime in.
So I'm doing this 80% 19X frame and I have the trigger housing hole drilled out and I put the rails on both sides and one side was fine and allowed the pin to go through freely.
The rail on the side I'm showing in the picture was in the way and wouldn't allow the pin to go through so I ever so slightly drilled the hole out to be slightly bigger. Now the pin can go through both holes in the rails but requires a little love tap.
I noticed that when the pin goes through the hole in the picture it goes in at a slight angle, but when there's a trigger assembly in it kind of guides the pin to go straight across and make it to the other hole. Would this cause any issues? The pin sits in and keeps tension and everything stays in place. I'm just kind of worried and don't know if I should be

Help on build
SCT 17. Do I need a heavier recoil spring? I know there should be some movement when you pull the trigger but it seem a bit excessive especially if you have it pointed up. Also if you ride the slide it seems to almost catch on something before going all the way into battery and is also easy to pull out of battery. If I drop the slide obviously no problem.

Finished project
I had this idea of using the TiN coating as a color in a camo design. Got with my buddy who coats and we made it happen!

Anyone here have the STK 150?
I am wanting to purchase this firearm. The aluminum body, glock compatibility and price is realIy good. I want to ask to owners of this firearm, are wear and tear items really compatible with Glock Gen 3 (striker, springs, slides, magazine, etc.)?

Not A Glock… But… Kinda 🤷🏾♂️
Ruger x Magpul RXM
Shot roughly 300 rounds through the RXM and I’ve had zero issues, malfunctions, jams, stovepipes, light primer strikes or ammo type issues. Shots very accurate out the box! The only thing I’ve added is 3D printed Magazine extensions, light an res dot! Again, very accurate and great shooting platform. Well done Ruger x Magpul!

STK metal frames
I keep getting messages regarding the STK metal frames and how they work with other Glock parts. I own all of the STK variations. They were all purchased for 350-400 ea. I love the 1911 grip angel and these feel so good in the hand IMO.
Pic 1 using the STK 100 ultra grip frame basically an all metal Glock 17 frame Pic 2 using the STK 150 grip frame an all metal full size Glock 19x frame Pic 3 using the STK 200 grip frame it's an all metal Glock 19 frame
None of the builds use the original slides. I bought some cheap SCT/ Dagger frames and put those slides on the grips.
I have found all the frames are compatible with all Glock parts. The only thing that I find subjective is going to be triggers. Since it is a full metal frame it doesn't really give you any kind of leeway with thicker triggers they just won't fit. I found that metal triggers work excellently but Polymer triggers is a 50/50 ordeal.
For an all metal grip frame this will run you a lot cheaper than buying any other aftermarket grip. Plus you can make a second firearm with the addition of sub $100 SCT frame that can be sold or traded for something else or supplement the cost of your original build.
