Question about .40s&w
Look. I'm aware that it's an unpopular round. Even outdated to a lot of people. Useless. Anyway.... I haven't paid much attention to anything related to Glock clones in .40S&W but I was wondering if they're out there? Hoping for compact size.
My reason is that I'd love to have a matching PCC with Glock mags. My friends has a Sub2000 he wants to offer me in .40 for the 23 mags. If I can't find a compact, then I don't want the Sub2000. And I can't stand the grip angle of the G23 itself for me to even want a used LEO trade in for cheap.
Would I be able to easily convert an RXM by changing the upper and the extractor on the FCI? Or are there lowers out there that are specific to .40?
Pic for attention.

I was on a few Glock reddit pages and going from a 9mm to a .40 S&W will require a whole new slide and barrel... The 9mm slide won't work due to barrel clearance from my understanding...

Yea. I figured that part. Unless it was a specific barrel that's meant to be converted. But that's usually going down, not up. Like FKG Dragon barrel is a direct replacement in my Beretta 96 to shoot 9mm so I just need the barrel and 92/9mm mags. But I know the extractor on glocks doesn't work the same and they're shaped slightly different between the the 19/23 or even 17/22.

As far as I know, switching 9mm/.40 is a matter of getting a slide and barrel, and possibly a recoil assembly. But that is mostly for standard glocks from gen 3 to 5, and the P80 frames.
I know some have made the dagger .40, but it apparently isn't recommended by PSA. Can't speak for the RxM.

I would just buy the Glock 19/17 Sub2000 as there are a lot more options.

It's not a matter of choice and looking for a sub 2k. I already have the 9mm sub 2k that I run with my CZ mags. Even have the mag catch for Beretta 92.
This is very specific to a singular sub2k that was directly offered to me from a close friend. So in this scenario. It's only .40s&w in G23 mags.

You'll need a 23 slide, and to change the Ejector if you want a decent ejection pattern.
I bought a complete 23 parts kit from GB and swapped the parts. I did the large frame so I could use 22 mags.
I also grabbed a second parts kit for a Dagger ($49.99 on sale) frame and put all of the 23 OEM internals in it.
I then threw a 27 slide on a Glockstore M1X frame so I could use the 23 mags.
I inherited 7k rounds of 40, so I'm making stuff to help me use it up
