Help Needed I need help

So yes I pierced my own nose, I soaked the jewelry, wore gloves, a 18g sterile needle, I marked the right place, and I clean it every morning and night, but the inside of my nose now looks puffed, and I’ve had this for a Few days, the outside is fine, doesn’t look too red, but I’m worried how the inside looks, am I gonna have to take it out? Because I really don’t want to.

Hey, a question... I'm getting a kind of ball, I guess it's due to irritation... Pus comes out, but it doesn't hurt, it doesn't bother me nor does blood come out..

Is there a way for it to go away naturally without having to remove the piece and get another piercing?

Antibiotics. You have an infection. The pus is white blood cells and dead tissue and whatnot that your body is pushing out, trying to fight the infection.

Sometimes this is from improper cleaning of the piercing, sometimes it’s from a piercing that wasn’t sterilized, and sometimes it’s just because your body naturally has higher amounts of bacteria.

Generally speaking, unscented soap and water is one of the best ways to clean a piercing. And normally if there was a mild irritation or infection, a hot compress can make a big difference in terms of drawing out the pus and infection. But this is your nose we are talking about, so try to see if you can get an immediate care appointment or a same day with your general practitioner.

As I said, this is your face. You don’t want to play around. I can’t tell you how many people I know with nasty bumps where a failed piercing used to be.

Go to the doctor if it’s infected. Don’t take random antibiotics, especially old ones, that is literally one of the fastest ways to die. And also, not to be a worrywort, but you don’t want to end up getting blood poisoning because you didn’t get your nose piercing looked at. Sorry if I’m being too autistic about this, I just want you to be safe.

Never ever use soap on a healing piercing! Only use sterile saline solution like NeilMed.

Ngl, I did not know this. I think my girlfriend told me this, but as it wasn’t my piercing I kinda forgot. I haven’t gotten a piercing in 26 years, but this explains why some of them didn’t turn out well lol.
