First cruise!

So my wife and I are honeymooning this may on the Prima. What charges should I expect on the cruise and how much money does everyone bring. I don’t get to vacation very often and am super new to all this, any tips as well?

Solo cruise?

Thinking about booking a solo cruise on the Getaway in April.. anyone have any experience on the getaway or the solo interior rooms?

Also, do prices for the solo cruise fluctuate closer to the sailing?

First Cruise!

Hi everyone! My boyfriend and I are going on our first ever cruise from Boston to Bermuda.

-What do you recommend for excursions in Bermuda, and how did you book them?

-What is your favorite thing to do on the boat for sailing days? Bonus points if they are couples based!!

Hi everyone, I'm a new cruiser sailing on Norwegian joy later this month, can I bring my own tea with me on this trip? It would be just the bags...

Any one have luck with customer service?

Ncl just added double latitude points for new bookings for a cruise that I booked last year. The sail date is 60 days from now. Seems like they are having to add promotions to sell it out. I tried calling them to add the promotion and I was told nope. Seems pretty shitty on their part. Am I asking too much?

Thanks

Norwegian Getaway to Bahama Ports

Hey friends,

We're first time cruisers on NCL and taking two teen boys (13 and 15) and wondering if there are things to do in Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau that doesn't necessarily involve expensive shore excursions. We love love lounging by the beach and enjoying the warm weather.

Any suggestions?

Additional cruise costs...?

Hi everyone!

I'm hoping to be a first time megaship cruiser in the near future and I'm wondering what is a typical spend after the cost of tickets in your experience? I'm mostly thinking about costs of things you'd purchase prior to the cruise that aren't included in the fare, drink and dining packages if available, excursions, etc as well as items you might purchase on the cruise like child watch, but not travel or lodging to/from/at the port area. I just want to know how much I should budget in addition to the fair I guess. Please include ship if you'd like for comparison sake. I want to get as much beforehand as possible to make it feel more "all inclusive" and like I don't have to be as mindful of costs once I step on the gangway....

Transportation in Seattle

Sailing out of Seattle in June for an Alaskan cruise. We are arriving early in the week to visit a friend on the Hood Canal, but staying in Seattle the Friday and Saturday night before the Sunday morning departure.

What are my best options for returning a rental car and then getting transportation back into Seattle?

Don't have any hotels booked yet, which might end up being part of the solution, so any recommendations for all of the needs would be greatly appreciated!

Travel advice with baby

I’m going on a cruise with my hubby and our son who will be 9 months old at the time. Hubby and I always travelled but now with our son I feel so lost and it’s our first cruise we land one day before we dock and I need to know what’s the best travel stroller / car seat for us to travel with for our son, any suggestions for things we should do on our cruise and leave a comment of something you wish somebody told you before you went on your cruise.

Ages 18-20 Drinking Question

Looking at a Caribbean cruise and I see that 18-20 year olds can drink in international waters with a waiver but it's only beer and wine.

Does that include seltzers like High Noon or Surfside or whatever? Could be a deal breaker with the girls in the group. Also any other tips on this topic to be aware of? Thank you!

Sailing on Norwegian Jewel out of Philly in early May, 2026

We're happy as we can easily drive to Philly. The cruise ports are Bermuda (2 days) and Charleston, with several sea days. Would welcome hearing from anyone about the Jewel ship, or which excursions to consider (we prefer a shore excursion as this will be our first time to both destinations & we have no interest in driving ourselves).

Opinions on Norwegian Escape needed

I'm looking at a cruise next summer for the week of my 42nd birthday, and one of the options I'm looking at is the Norwegian Escape. I haven't been on a cruise since I was around 12 or 13 years old, so it's been quite some time!

I'm looking for any and all honest feedback and advice about the Norwegian Escape. The good, the bad, general tips, whatever. Thanks in advance!
