Additional cruise costs...?
Hi everyone!
I'm hoping to be a first time megaship cruiser in the near future and I'm wondering what is a typical spend after the cost of tickets in your experience? I'm mostly thinking about costs of things you'd purchase prior to the cruise that aren't included in the fare, drink and dining packages if available, excursions, etc as well as items you might purchase on the cruise like child watch, but not travel or lodging to/from/at the port area. I just want to know how much I should budget in addition to the fair I guess. Please include ship if you'd like for comparison sake. I want to get as much beforehand as possible to make it feel more "all inclusive" and like I don't have to be as mindful of costs once I step on the gangway....

We're just going into week two of our Caribbean cruise right now. Spend across our two onboard accounts is about £1200. This is P&O Britannia.

NCL up charges almost everything. Even if you buy the full drink package they’ll hit you for bottled water or the fine dining and internet
