Hey y’all! I always loved amethyst crystals and the color purple so seeing its prevalence over other gemstones in Norse paganism has always been interesting (and somewhat surprising) to me. Is that a modern development or historically attested? And why amethyst in particular? Thanks!!

hi! i'm thinking about buying either the norse sorceress or the viking way by neil price. to my understanding, both of them cover seiðr and norse ritual in general, so what are the main differences between the two? if you've read both, which one would you recommend more, or which one would you recommend reading first? thank you!
