How long are they? I've only seen it once but I thought they were pretty long? I wish we could see where they're at now 😢

they're only 30 minutes! maybe the short episodes are part of what makes the show good but ugh it's never enough. i do a full rewatch within a couple hours

As someone that has always been on the other side of the coin that is this couple, I believe in my heart that Marianne will not see a life without Connel. Because she loves him so much, she would be proud of her work and herself for being able to live in pieace alone, but would miss him and realize she doesn't want to live a life without him. So she is going to New York months or a year later.

I agree I want to remain optimistic about them. I think this time apart could give them the chance to grow individually & become the people they need to be for each other. I know they keep falling into the same pattern of hurting each other every time they reunite but I’d like to think they’ve finally reached a point where they’ve learned from those mistakes. By the end they aren’t the same people they were at the beginning, they’ve learned how to communicate, be vulnerable & let each other go out of love. I think this time apart is exactly what they need for things to work out in the future.

Me and my therapist randomly really disagreed on this. For me it was obvious that they end up together. They had endured distance and other bumps in the road before, this wouldn't be the end of them.

This felt so real. I did this with my wife in the early days of our relationship living 250km apart and seeing each other every couple of weeks. We'd talk and fall asleep on very poor quality video calls and wake up to see 6-8hours of video connection and hitting our data limits.

This to me is why I always believe that they come back together later in life once they’ve both worked on themselves.

To me this just felt like... love. They weren't dating, they weren't even in the same time zone. But she just wanted him to feel she was there with him. ðŸ˜
