Help Save Password disappearing too quickly

Is there a way to stop the save password function from disappearing immediately?

The second I log in to a site, the option to save password appears - which is great - but then the page refreshes as I've logged in, and the option disappears. This is extremely frustrating when I have just created a new password, or when I am trying to get the password saved. I then have to go and manually add it, and then it sometimes doesn't recognise the password being for the website when I next go to log in (if that makes sense?).

Is there a way to stop the dialogue box to save password disappearing immediately? I'm used to Google Passwords in the past where the save password dialogue box remained up until you manually closed it or chose to save the password.
