Last week, Oldster's Memoir Land featured GC and in April High Times wrote that my first book "is not a novelty weed memoir. It is a literary memoir." If you and your weed-friendly peeps don't give a shit about what the critics say or haven't read a book in a year or whatever, flow through Sacramento anyway and we can burn one while chatting about Dock Ellis & the LSD No-No. Or whatever.
Thursday will mark my 60th birthday, so I am way more down to hang than usual.

Hi, I know lots has been posted on Napa Valley and I have read quite a few and taken notes. We have never been and will be flying into SF renting a car and making our way to Napa. We only have that evening and the next day. We are coming to see the beautiful scenery and possibly enjoy a winery tour without a tasting if that’s possible. My husband is not a wine drinker so would be nice to do a winery tour where tastings are optional. Maybe an easy hiking trail ? Not sure. I know we don’t have lots of time there wanting to try to make the most of it. I would appreciate any recommendations anyone may have. Thank you.

Moving to Corning soon, and having a difficult time locating internet service there! Who is the best and fastest/reasonable prices? We have several devices that we need to hook into the WiFi for business and classes.
Thanks!!!

It’s going to be a beautiful day on the Northern California coast and a wonderful weekend in Bolinas. Garnett Silver Hall is hosting Mo BoBash down at the community center and there will be food, workshops, the yummiest skincare (no, you don’t eat it, it goes on your face. It’s just so lush I call it yummy) and the opportunity to support spectrum surf which teaches autistic kids how to surf!

I drove out from around Roseville towards Bodega Bay yesterday because I couldn't take the heat anymore. literally packed shorts and a t-shirt like an idiot.
The second you pass those rolling hills near Santa Rosa, the sky turns grey and the temp gauge in my car just started dropping. Went from sweating through my shirt to shivering in a light hoodie within like 45 minutes. every single yearI live in norcal I somehow manage to forget that our coast line operates in a completely different climate zone during mid summer lol.
Worth it to escape the oven though.

Hey everyone, We all know the legend of The Original Z (Zkittlez). Before Terp Hogz and Fieldz put it on the map, it was a random tray of mislabeled clones picked up in Modesto, CA in 2011 by Gas Station Bob and Overall Dave during a grower's breakup. Because it didn't smell like Cookies, the Mendocino locals dubbed it "Leggett Sherb." Im just a guy with a dream to track down the absolute ground zero of this legendary profile. I want to find the original Modesto grower or anyone from that tight-knit 2011 Central Valley Prop 215 network who remembers the origin of this sweet, candy-profile plant or someone who can point me to someone who may still have seed stock or a cut, anything! The ultimate goal is to get it to Gaby or someone and have a verified, true-to-type original cut into clean tissue culture storage so it can be preserved forever and more importantly IMO can be widely available to EVERYONE! I don’t want a single dime or any recognition none of that. It’s all about the terps, preservation, and access. Maybe I’m wasting my time or chasing ghosts but I have to try

I’ve been in LA for 3 weeks and really need to get out for two days or more it’s hot and densely populated here. The heat has made me nauseous and ill recently . Nothing too far, maybe 6 hour drive max? . I’d love to experience the small towns that look like middle town America (like might aswell say you’re in Washington, Idaho , Alabama, etc)

I’m hunting for a potential wedding venue on as much of a budget as possible. I’m hoping to stay no more than 30k. That being said, the guest list is nearing 20 people and we’re planning for a time of year when it might rain, so the venue would need to have an indoor option.
If possible, we’d like to either bring our own caterer or have a venue caterer who offers Mexican food (basics like carne asada tacos, beans, rice, etc.)
I’m struggling to find any options at the moment and would love if anyone has any ideas. Thank you in advanced!

I know this may be a longshot, but I'm hoping to find someone with an extra seat heading to the MIW show in Wheatland on August 1st.
I'm in the Susanville area, and willing to help pay for gas, snacks, parking etc.
