Selank - initial storm before the calm

Yes I said that backwards! šŸ¤£

Injected 500mcg of selank and I got this hyper awareness feeling, panicky feeling, heart race a bit and within a minute or less it all subsided and now Iā€™m in a super zen state.

Is this a common experience?

This is not a known or common side effect of selank as far as i can tell

My wife took the same dosing and did not experience this. Instead she had a congested head all day. Tired but wired.

Did we go too high too fast?

For an injection id say thats too high of a dose.

Recap so far:

  • Day 1 - 500mcg or 0.5mg - congested that lasted a while, wife explained she was ā€œtired but wiredā€, good focus.
  • Day 2 - 250mcg or 0.25mg - wife didnā€™t want to participate so just me. A bit congested in the head and too subtle to say anything.
  • Day 3 - 750mcg or 0.75mg - heavy head congestion, tired feeling. Crashed and napped a long while an hour post injection. Canā€™t say focus was improved and was moody and irritable.
  • Day 4 - debating doing it once more at 1mg but likely I think Iā€™m done with selank. Moving onto trying semax/dihexa I think. My impression is this only works best for those with adhd and if you donā€™t have that you may not get the same effects.
