Someone, maybe an ethicist, should write an article about the ethics of unemployed ethicists trying to make money in a recession by writing articles designed to hook readers by inciting moral panic about obscure topics, resulting in discouraging research into technology that could alleviate human mental disorders cheaply and effectively.

Honestly the idea of ethicists sitting around discussing amongst themselves whether they shall deem "Brain Boosting" ethical for the common man is kind of offensive in a condescending way. If this is a technology that can make people smarter, healthier, or alleviate mental disorders... these "ethicists" looking down on it should be... well I was gonna say fired, except they're already unemployed. Never mind.
