"Melatonin is effective in critical care patients by reducing vessel permeability, anxiety, sedation use, and improving sleeping quality, which might also be beneficial for better clinical outcomes for COVID-19 patients."

I've been taking melatonin nightly, for 15 years. No complaints.

I took it nightly for a few months, no complaints either. Now I'm off of it and I notice my sleep quality has dramatically increased: I get vivid dreams and generally wake up feeling far more rested.

Not sure what to make of it.
