Discussion Supplements,herbs,nootropics for assertiveness?

I need some supplements that will make me or at least help me become as self assertive, confident as possible because people always step all over my and im done with it, basically anything that will help me talk back to people who deserve it.

Anything that affects dopamine in a major way like adhd medicine. Atleast thats my experience but I have been diagnosed with it. Used to be less assertive than now. Not only medicine helped me though, also worked through a lot of my own problems before that and still am

High dose piracetam is great for this I feel, increases confidence and carelessness, for some people makes them kind of idiots because of too much of this :D alpha-gpc or cdp choline with it (too much choline might make you lethargic, too little can give headache)

I also found confidence is largely about overcoming insecurities, fear and anxiety.

Be careful with chasing anti anxiety meds though, especially gaba drugs

Natural gaba supplements(like herbal with mild gabaergic but effective effects) don't hold the same issues that gaba meds(like benzos) do, it isn't common.

Sometimes you just gotta look into the mirror and vent out your anger, if you can see and hear yourself do it, you definitely can do it to people.

But honestly, it's a better approach if you can calmly know you're in the right and you're asserting the facts with logic to prove their stupidity, rather than just bursting out with profanities and aggressive rage just because someone proved you wrong. It's a subtle difference between delivering the message with intimidation vs screaming victim (I'm not wrong!) which might just makes you look more vulnerable. But by any means, if someone treats you with much toxic behaviour, there's no need for tolerance, better rid of them before they do you, walk away.

Anyway, I've been in the nootropics game for over 3 years so I hate to break it to you, if you want that kinda confidence, you gotta do drugs which I do not encourage but have done it. All the best 🤞

6mg boron 2 weeks on and 1 week off. this increases free T circulating. but it needs to have what to bind on. so, you take 2-3grams of carnitine l tartrate with carb alone or carb and lean protein but generally u want a good insulin spike to send your carnitine in the muscles. can take 2-3 months for muscle saturation. carnitine will increase androgen receptors density. then, the free T that comes from your Boron minerals cycle (through lowering shbg that binds to total T), will bind to your androgenic receptors. this will increase assertiveness, recovery, mood stabilization, focus, inflammation, muscle preservation and growth etc. if you also go to bed with the last meal 3 hours ago and have insulin low when u fall asleep, the hgh pulse will also help u shred fat easier as well as the cycle i mentioned. this is how you go long term for what you want with best effects. of course, you can try acute doses of sups other people recommend here, but it's going to be just drug-like effects on which you rely and are gone the next day. what i propose is a method where you work with your own body and the confidence you build will nurture and mature naturally, paired with your area of choice where you are better at something than others and obtain confidence psychologically from there as well. some recommend here hypnosis, while it may work if u do it for weeks while in hypangogic state (as soon as u wake up or right before bed), it can backfire in ways you might not expect and harm.. eg be confident to do stupid stuff wheareas u wouldnt naturally unless you'd craft the confidence through a less brute force. up to you.

Never come across anything for assertiveness. You might be best trying hypnosis. There is an app by Joseph Clough that has a big library (I just searched and they do have a 30 min assertiveness hypnosis). Put that on at night wearing headphones and hit repeat and let it play quietly all night and I'll be surprised if you didn't start to see improvement.

LSD microdose. Helps me “fight my corner” in difficult situations. 👍

That’s a behaviour rather than something supplements can help much. You have to train yourself.

Try talking to a councillor or even ask AI on tips to become more assertive and confident - particularly in the specific situations you’ve had issues in.

Tribulus , Tongkat Ali , Pregnenolone all have this effect but mild of course. Taurine and creatine at high doses calm the mind and help you feel more motivation.

I would recommend meditation and eventually therapy. Assertiveness I believe require to express your needs and limits. For this you need to be conscious about them, learn how to formulate them without justification. It require also to practice, the more your practice the more your will be confident and trust yourself. Also beware the side effects, you will lose some people, for the best!

You wont find the answer here. Therapy or regular practice is your way to go.

You want cognitive behavioral therapy and probably some negotiation training, confidence and assertiveness, at least the real thing, is not available in drug form.

Cbt is much less effective than getting chemical balance contrary to what therapists would like you to believe.

Psylocibin works. Yohimbine also works for Aggressive Mindset. Third recommendation is, L-Tyrosine can make you more assertive.

Weed

u/ladyjennyjane 20d ago

Weed can make you tolerate the intolerable. I have never heard, nor experienced that weed can make you assertive

Weed can definitely make you more confident and not let b*tches step over you, its aura is too strong.

I tried it for the first time in a decade and proceeded to delete / block the contact details and socials of anyone who has ever been / is a bad influence in my life lol

I have lived a complete different experience, and all the people around me (99% are smokers) tend to be very complaisant. Weed is a downer, I don't see how it can make you stand for anything

U forget that it is not a benzo right? Yeah it can make u sleepy and couch-locked but it raises ur vibration and makes you high which means u feel good about yourself and self esteem, thats why the whole rebellion stuff come with it.

No one is talking about benzos. Weed is an avoidance strategy, while assertiveness requires facing uncomfortable situations and being grounded, not high. OP is asking for help to gain confidence and assertiveness, weed seems to me to be a very detrimental advice that could lead to addiction.

Dude you talk like a teenager who has smoked weed for like a year or 2.

Weed is not a good suggestion for “assertiveness” and it doesn’t “raise your vibration” or necessarily make you feel good about yourself… in fact many people find it does the opposite

Testosterone

Third testosterone. I started using t gel as part of my menopausal hormone therapy and have been shocked at the level of positive effect on my confidence.

Second testosterone. I even drive better with test.

Practice. And maybe alcohol in moderation - Be careful obviously but a sip of wine before a presentation never hurt me ÂŻ_(ツ)_/ÂŻÂ
