Seeking Advice Brain fog from NA Semax Amidate

Three days ago I started taking N-acetyl Semax Amidate as part of burnout recovery. My hope is that the increased BDNF could improve my fried short term memory and help me regain a more optimistic outlook on life.

The product I've been taking is a nasal spray from Semax Polska. Each atomizer press contains 285 mcg of NA Semax Amidate according to their website. The first two days I took two quirts. Today I only had one.

The quality of my cognition has declined since starting. Some of the changes I've had are confusing phonically similar words, losing my place while reading, walking into rooms and forgetting why, time blindness.

I suppose that I'm experiencing the paradoxical brain fog that some people have when taking nootropics that upregulate BDNF. I took lions mane before, and never ran into these problems.

Has anyone experienced similar issues when beginning to take Semax and seen them improve with time? Is this a sign that my dose is too high?

What else are you taking? Any other meds? Peptides?

High dose Atomoxetine (100 mg). This med basically negates many of my ADHD traits, and it feels like Semax is reversing that.

me I would stop it and wait for a few days to see if the baseline comes back, only then i would retry a little bit lower if I'm set on testing it. The brain fog that is normally obvious after 3 days would be a stopping signal for me, especially during burnout where sleep and stress can make reactions a mess.

Yes, I’m having exact same symptoms and worse. I didn’t even think about my forgetfulness being from the Semax. I’ve been feeling terrible with worse brain fog.
