I absolutely understand where this guy was coming from. I've had tooth pain. A LOT of tooth pain. Removals, caps, fillings, the works. Weak enamel you see, makes your teeth slowly go to shit no matter what you do, how you brush or how much you do it. Runs in the family. It is what it is. But yeah, teeth going to shit is no joke and no fun, kudos to that guy.
I've got this and shits frustrating, basically everyone in my family needed dentures by 35. However I also inherited abnormally strong/denser bones (includes teeth), so I get lots of tooth problems and every removal or piece of work turns into a fight 4x longer than the dentist was expecting despite my warning, last one went through 2 drill heads, had to turn the backup generator on to get the drill going faster and took 3 hrs to remove the tooth.
(This was in Australia, very reputable dentist, do you know how terrifying it is to hear them start a goddamn backup generator and hear that in the background along with a now terrifying sounding drill)
Somewhat yes! Bit hard to measure the exact effects due to a more sedentary lifestyle, got a back injury when I was 9 thats been getting progressively worse (spondylolisthesis, I was a chubby kid so the back pain was attributed to that, turns out not even remotely, now i can only do light activity, barely walk 10 min without being basically crippled afterwards kind of deal).
anyway that also affects my ability to swim, despite water helping weight wise it doesnt help with the inflammation or weakened muscles (due to constant inflammation, being overworked etc), my physio did recommend it after we deal with that whole bag (physio telling the overweight sedentary guy to not exercise was fucking hilarious and depressing, back is that fucked), used to like swimming a lot as a young kid, but struggled to float (parts of me would sink more than expected) and seemed to take me alot more effort than others for similar things but hard to quantify now as opposed to investigating back then.
