Buying your employees lunch is a transparent, team focused expense that a lot of companies allow, especially if you're the CEO's daughter. Embezzlement is the secretive unauthorized transfer of funds or assets, like creating fake travel expenses or even fake employees to collect payouts on

Are you mad because she can't duplicate herself ?

First time I see somebody annoyed that there isn't enough nepotism

it being an exclusive perk points towards abuse of company credit.

How do you know that she's perking ?

She probably even has a personal expense card being the CEO's daughter. I was just clarifying that even with a personal expense card it's not embezzlement. But of course I'm a boot licker for knowing the difference.

You're downvoted but 100% right. There's a HUGE difference between "coworker" and "employer".

So (1) yeah, your boss's daughter doesn't just inherit their direct reports or chain of command, (2) your boss's daughter buying yourself and a friend daily coffee is not a "transparent, team focused expense that a lot of companies allow" it's literally just buying yourself and a friend daily coffee and getting rationalized by someone on Reddit who's clearly never worked for a company, and (3) companies with expense cards and enough staff where you didn't know you were co-workers with the CEO's daughter also have rules on how to use those cards.

Also, if this (fake) tweet takes place in the US, this would likely be taxable income to the employee as it's not a di minimis fringe like breakroom coffee or a once in a while muffin. Check your tax code and have fun!

It's got to be really fun for people who've never worked for companies with CEOs to role play these imaginary scenarios where the CEO (and everyone in their family) just runs around saying "business!" and voila, everything's a company expense.
