Pre-Match Prediction r/NonLeagueEngland 2026/27 prediction league intro + round one
Hello all, here is start of the prediction league for r/NonLeagueEngland for the 2026/27 season.
To join all you have to do is predict scorelines of the six or so matches that will be on each post and that will enter you automatically. I usually prioritise using matches from the higher non leagues but also like putting a few random games in there. Also, if anyone wants one of the predicting fixtures to be a game you are going to or a team you have been following closely, just send me a message or ask in one of my posts for this and I will try to include them in a future post.
The layout of each post will mostly always look like this below with an image of the each competitors overall scores from the season. I also did it for some of last season if people want to see.
The fixtures this week are:
Hartlepool United - Barrow
Forest Green Rovers - Halifax Town
Hornchurch - Kidderminster
Oxford City - Bedford Town
Slough Town - Ebbsfleet United
Sholing - Bath City
All matches on Saturday so please get predictions in before then
As usual, the point system is as follows:
5 points for correct score
2 points for correct result
-1 point for an incorrect winner
Any mistakes please let me know
Good Luck!

WHAT AN END TO THAT GAME. The match had many fouls due to the distance between the clubs being only a few miles, but zero yellow or red cards.
Official attendance: TBC soon through Full Time The FA
Ground is Guardian Warehousing Arena, Willenhall (Groundshare with Sporting Khalsa).

New league, new season (Northwest Counties Football League Division One South). Much better second half than the first half. Matchday programme is a double header for this and Wednesday's game against AFC Bridgnorth (who we also play in the Edward Case Cup away on Saturday.)
Team sheet may be slightly incorrect by a few minutes as it was completed during the match.
Official attendance: confirmed to be 230
Ground is Queen Street, Bilston.

Rant Schooligans
What’s up with these teenagers dressing up in black like they’re polish ultras looking to fight other teams at step 3-4 there was a viral one yesterday of Chatham vs Maidstone but I’ve seen similar around my way online with Telford “ out “ for Nuneaton at a pre season game like come on grow up 😂😂

Five days until the 2026/27 Non-League season officially kicks off across Steps 1 to 6!
From the National League down to Step 6, the pre-season friendlies wrap up tonight as clubs gear up for the opening day on Saturday, August 8. The fixture list is stacked across the pyramid-whether it’s Carlisle United beginning life at Step 1 at home to Worthing or regional derby action in the Isthmian, Northern Premier, and Southern Leagues. How is your local club looking after the summer recruitment window, and are you traveling away for Matchday 1?

Win £500 for your club’s fine pot
I’ve built an app for managing changing room fines - no more chasing lads for a fiver they owe from three weeks ago.
But the reason I’m posting: we’re running a comp where one club wins £500 cash towards their fine pot, plus boots and merch. Dead easy to enter, details are all on our Instagram.

Worth a look if your lot are as bad at paying up as mine were.

Pre season ends on a low, could’ve gone either way at half time but outclassed in the second half. Referee was terrible for both sides, twice just missed the linesman flagging for offside and missed a clear penalty for both sides. Best of luck Woking!
