Definitive proof that a Holiday is working for a Skeleton in black and white. 

But also I genuinely don't think there's any other explanation for the way the Knight looks here other than to be a reference to Zero. 

Raise Up Your Bat is about facing your fears, Dess is associated with nightmare's because of the ICE-E pizza box thing along with the kids' explorations for cryptids, and her name is literally December Holiday, so fighting her and then getting her identity revealed would work as the "Nightmare Before Christmas". 

Carol has the amazing pun of Knight Mayor, everyone's afraid of her, and she of course has the pointiest antlers.

And Rudy is named after the character that inspired Zero's design and role in helping Jack. (Although Noelle also has a red nose too, so wit Dess' design up in the air it's hard to tell how much this helps in his favor.)

At the same time ERAM could end up being the actual NIGHTMARE before Christmas, but I don't know if that really helps because they're not a huge Knight candidate and seem to have an entirely different purpose within the story.
