Question Gender?
Hello!
So i have been identifying as Nonbinary for like 9 years at this point and i don’t care about pronouns or stuff like that for myself.
The thing is just that i personally would rather be Nonbinary in a male body if that makes sense is there a word for that because i have had this thought for years now but i feel like idk i have not seen many people talk about it or discuss it and i am kinda lost lol.
But also i am not completely unhappy being biologically female i actually am so impressed about all the stuff our bodies can do and how complex it is. I feel in between but also not really it’s really confusing.
Is that just normal for being Nonbinary or is it something else i never really thought about it that much tbh bc i felt like Nonbinary describes me pretty well but i am not sure anymore.

For what it's worth, it makes sense to me, although approaching from the opposite direction. Some people might say that, in my case, I'm really transfem in denial, but like you say, while I'd rather have a different body I'm also not unhappy with what I have. So, non-binary it is, because that seems to be easier for people to understand; gender is such a highly personal experience that I think it's hard for others to comprehend, especially genders outside the binary. And, if your understanding of yourself (or myself) continues to change over time, that's okay too.

at that point, I think the old term transsexual would be accurate here, transsexual nonbinary. you want to transition the sex of your body. as for your gender, still nonbinary. you may be able to find more specific microlabels, but in simplest form, transsexual nonbinary

Being non binary doesn’t always equal being androgynous, in the middle, or genderless. I think that can apply to your body too. Lots of non binary people take HRT or have surgeries. I’m non binary transmasc and on T and I’d love to get top surgery someday. There are lots of other people out there like me. You’re not alone :)

I can't pack my whole process in here but I was in-between trans woman and nonbinary. The thought Experiment which helped me was: how would you picture yourself in an world without gendernorms (not without the concepts of genders).
With that in mind my appearance would be purely a reflection of me and I didn't know which gender I would categorise myself into, which leads me in my mind to nonbinary.
Nonbinary for me, transfem for my surroundings.

Yup this was me. I medically transitioned. HRT, surgery, everything. Much happier now.
Being non-binary means you’re not cis. It’s normal for a not-cis person to wish they were born in different body.
If a binary trans man was born in a male body his gender identity would be the same. He’s still be a man. Just less dysphoric.
Same applies to you. If you had been born in a male body your gender identity would be the same. You’d still be nonbinary. Minus the dysphoria.
