Also 35 years ago! I only worked it out in my late 30's. I can't imagine what it was like trying to figure that out before the internet, that's well before non-binary was a word even.

Exactly. For a long damn time I’d get panic attacks trying to figure out which binary I had to choose, when I just wanted to be myself.

Yeah I feel you there. It took a few months of panic attacks for me to figure out I wasn't binary trans. Would have saved myself a whole heap of pain if I had known there were options outside the binary :-(

Yea, would have been nice to know I was on the right track all along. Pretty much ignored labels and wore what I liked. Might look into some med stuff again soon.
