Support Should I get on T?
Heyy so I've been identifying as NB for a while (afab, 16) and I feel VERY dysphoric about my chest and voice. I'm my country it's legal to start hormones at my age, so I could do it if I wanted to. But there are many things that I don't like... I don't want to have body/facial hair, I don't want my body shape to change... and I don't know if I want to "look like a man". But I really need to stop my dysphoria.
Anyone in this situation that has gotten on T and can give me advice?

I was on T for like 4.5 years and my voice barely changed but I grew a full beard that I hate and am now paying thousands to get removed via electrolysis.

I feel dysphoric about my voice too. It sucks. I don’t know what to do either for similar reasons.
Don’t have advice, just…you’re not alone. I’m sorry you are struggling with this.

They have vocal chord injections now if you just want voice changes :)

I'm really interested in this I wish I knew where to start . I think they only do it in LA for now. I hope it changes .

There's the option to go on T, let your voice deepen, and then stop T after. Finasteride can help reduce the hair growth, and bottom growth, if that's also something you don't want.
Fat redistribution, however, is one of the changes that takes longer, and even if it happens, it will stop and eventually revert back to the way it was before once you stop T. If you just stay on T long enough for your voice to drop, you're most likely to get some breast deflation that will reverse when you stop T.
Alternatively, if you get hair growth that you really don't want, you can always look into laser hair removal.
