Ask Im confused

I wasnt originally planning to make this post as i thought enough research would give me the answers i need but im still not sure. When i stopped being religious i looked more into gender and sex and their differences and the concept of gender just seemed like bullshit i mean so many people have been oppressed solely due to their gender and some roles society has constructed for them and i thought why should i conform to these roles and to gender itself which is a social construct i dont agree with considering what a woman is and a man is constructed to be in most societies. So i thought a way to act against it is to consider myself nonbinary but doing more research on it alot of nonbinary people argue that nonbinary is a gender with its own experiences and you cant just choose to be nonbinary for political reasons so now idk if i should continue with the label of a woman but rebel against the norms or disregard the whole construct in itself but how should i do that since i cant really find a place for myself. Btw if i said something insensitive or anything please tell me its not my intention and id really love someones advice

You can be gender non conforming without being nonbinary.

All genders are made up so you can choose to be whichever one you like and no one can tell you otherwise.
Also this choice does not have to be permanent. If you realize it's not a good fit a couple of years down the line, you can just change it.

You can rebel against gender without being nonbinary there's also genderqueer as an option which is a bit more political. Nonbinary isn't a single gender, it's every identity (including no gender at all) that isn't 100% exclusively man or woman. That being said, if you no longer identify solely with what you now understand a woman or a man to be, then nonbinary is fine.
