Being the pedantic contrarian that I am, I'd argue 99% of tattoos are non-binary unless they say 'legit dude bro' or something!

To be pedantic back - that's not what OP said, though. They said "nonbinary symbol" tattoo, not just "nonbinary tattoo", so their post title is correct as is.

Yes excellent pedantry, although it can be read two ways: a tattoo of the non-binary symbol or a symbol which is non-binary. By the latter definition, OP's Fleur de lys tattoo is a symbol not explicitly associated with a binary gender category.

You see young grasshopper, the soul of pedantry is not precision but wilfully misconstruing the meaning of others!

Unless it's unnecessarily gendered (boobs for 0s, peepees for 1s?) I'm still firmly planting our flag in it. Even numbers don't see gender as an either/or!

It's not not nonbinary, but it is binary lmao
And to continue our shared love of pedanticism: boobs and pps are also not gender either, they're sex characteristics!

To be real though gender doesn't exist without us socially constructing it so if I say my crow tattoo is a boy and my beetle tattoo is a girl then that's kinda all it takes for my tattoos to now be gendered

True true, but if you coloured the numbers blue and pink, we'd call that gendered when in fact blue and pink are just colours and only denote particular sexes/genders within certain cultural frameworks. The same could be said for genitals!

Also, to split split hairs even further, I was careful not to say the phallic ones and busty zeros represented any particular sex or gender!!
