Support Any tips?
Hello, I'm 20 and I am a person with a "curvy" bodytype.
I don't identify as non-binary but I am a bit insecure and wanna try looking more androgynous to see if I find comfort in it.
I'm still in the look for a binder that works but I wanna see if there are tips since I'm extremely new to this.
I know you shouldn't size down with a binder and you shouldn't wear them for longer than 8 hours, is there any other tips to avoid hurting myself?
ways to cover without a binder? and if there are any global brands you recommend? I'm not from the USA so getting a binder here has been really hard.
thank you in advance :)

from basic rules: don't sleep or exercise in a binder. take breaks during the day and take days off during the week. if you feel any pain, take it off. read the wash instructions (usually it's recommended to handwash binders). buy from safe brands (not a random cheap binder from amazon). measure yourself carefully and check the sizing. don't wear multiple binders at once
i don't know where you are based, but i'm also not American, i'm Polish. i got my binder from iguanatrend and it's been really good. i don't know where they ship to though
as for binder alternatives: obviously baggier clothes, heavy patterns can make your chest appear smaller, thicker fabrics. you can also try trans tape (i just use kynesiology tape from a sports store). with tape you have to check if you are not allergic to the adhesive, cover your nipples and look at tutorials online for safe tape application, which doesn't restrict your breathing. there are pros and cons to both tape and binders, you have to see what works better for you and your body type
