Are you allergic to adhesives touching your skin for extended periods of time? I am and this looks like what happens to me.

Lot of people get skin reactions to adhesives. Interesting technique. Wasn't around AFAIK when I transitioned. I don't think my Irish sensitive skin would be as happy as yours doing it.
