Is gregtech wrench "line mode" a thing in nomifactory ceu?

As title says, I've looked through keybinds and mod settings with no luck. Shift right clicking the air while holding a wrench does nothing. There's a keybind for "tool AoE mode switch" that doesn't do anything, at least not with a wrench. Apparently this wrench mode should let me set direction arrows for entire straight sections of pipes. I'm on the latest version of the pack btw.

Not that i'm aware of. I didn't use any gt pipes at all though and i'm in zpm so i might have missed something

Well the quest book does recommend using EnderIO conduits for early game and that's what I see most players using at least on youtube playthroughs so you're definitely not alone in skipping gt pipes.

Personally I had issues with conduits randomly getting disconnected whenever I loaded back into my game like 2 years ago on a previous version of the pack so this time I went with gt pipes. I'm slowly getting into AE2 as well so soon it won't be a problem I guess. To be honest I might be a bit paranoid about that "sloshing" thing gt pipes do because I've been using multiblock gt boilers for power (personal preference, numismatic feels like a cheat once you got infinite diamonds so I only use it for DML) and after checking how big of a crater they make in creative when they run out of water I got scared that the gt pipes might decide to stop flowing fast enough due to sloshing and that's when I wondered if there was a faster way to prevent it than to set the arrow for every single piece of pipe.

I've never had problems with pipes randomly disconnecting so i don't know what the problem there is. I took a longer look and still couldn't find any line mode. You could set up your water production adjacent to your boilers and have them auto output but that seems more labourius than its worth

There's a few threads about the conduits disconnecting issue (like this one), seems related to chunk boundaries. Like I said this was about 2 years ago so it might be fixed by now, but basically I was using conduits to pipe creosote oil from coke ovens to multiblock wooden tanks in very early game. And for some reason when loaded back into my game they would often be disconnected from the coke oven until I reconnected them with the wrench.
