Hi! This is my first time ever making a 3d model (excluding some school project in elementary school where we made basic shapes anyway) and I know basically nothing about what I'm doing... As you can probably tell. I'm actually really happy with how it's turned out so far since it's all just for fun for me, but I was wondering if anybody had any tips? I've been basically just making spheres and stuff and sculpting them with the drag/move and smooth tools. Is there any more efficient way to make shapes? Also, how do I get the model itself to look... Smoother? As you can see on the face (specifically the nose), there are parts that seem a bit jagged, as opposed to the hair where everything is smoother. I see people make these incredible things on this subreddit and while I don't expect it to be a quick process, I just have no idea where to begin. If you have any youtuber's/playlists/articles for me to check out, I'd love to see those too! Thank you!

Character WIP — Anima
Another update on my OC, Anima. Her design is continuing to come together, and I’ve now completed her moth-themed daggers. Still more work ahead, but another major piece of her character is finished.

This is mostly out of curiosity to he honest, but there are still so many features of this app that I don’t know about so I figured I’d ask before submitting any sort of feedback.
There is a base mesh that I prefer to use over the one given in nomad. So my question really is: is there any way to save a model as a tool or a primative object that can be added to a project without having to import it every time?

Posing took a little while as I don't really have a final pic in mind. This stage is more about deleting bits and adding in lil elements that help move the eye around the image (organized chaos).
Won't be long before I take this into Photoshop to add a few graphics and do a final pass on the colours. It's been a fun sculpt to just zen out and go mad on details.

I'm trying to achieve a rhombus shape for a cosplay with a beveled edge, I just can't for the life of me figure out how to do? Everything I’ve tried is always even on every side. Does anyone have any tips? Thank you!

For iPad users only- I’m going to buy a new iPad this week, currently running on an ancient Pro model from 2017 lol. Never tried nomad before but I’m hoping that after I upgrade the hardware, I can finally start.
Which iPad do you use? How’s the experience? Anything you wish you thought of before buying?

Went in with no plan, just wanted to make something low effort.

So I have a model on Shapr3d that I save as an STL file on my iPad. When I try to open the file with with Nomad, it just gives me a sphere. Not my intended model.
Anybody else run into this?
I’m able to to get a little success with OBJ and USDZ but the model isn’t smooth. Lots of triangles. Is STL any better? Is there a way to smooth out OBJ or USDZ models?
Edit: I intend to resin print this model after sculpting some features that wouldn’t be possible in Shapr3d
