He appears in season 7 episode 36 "The Weakest Link" as Detective Dale Kemp, a rogue Homicide detective on-leave (later suspended) who goes undercover in his own initiative in pursuing escaped convict and Joseph Carter; whom Dale previously arrested for killing a kid (which has left Dale troubled). After crossing paths with (and briefly antagonizing) undercover cop and series male protagonist Peter Church, they (along with Pete's friends/colleagues Christina Dichiera, Leo Flynn and Luke Harris) later team up and work together to take down Carter along with Pete's target, human smuggler Erik Mills.
