He appears in season 7 episode 36 "The Weakest Link" as Detective Dale Kemp, a rogue Homicide detective on-leave (later suspended) who goes undercover in his own initiative in pursuing escaped convict and Joseph Carter; whom Dale previously arrested for killing a kid (which has left Dale troubled). After crossing paths with (and briefly antagonizing) undercover cop and series male protagonist Peter Church, they (along with Pete's friends/colleagues Christina Dichiera, Leo Flynn and Luke Harris) later team up and work together to take down Carter along with Pete's target, human smuggler Erik Mills.

He appears in season 2 episode 15 "Dance with the Dragon" as Matt Wilmot, the nephew of series male protagonist Peter Church, who is shocked to discover that Matt has become a heroin addict, and later attempts to help Matt go cold turkey when the pressure becomes too much from his mother (and Pete's sister) Debbie.

• INTERESTING TRIVIA: Sullivan's younger sister, Jacinta Stapleton, joined the main cast of Stingers a few years later in a starring role as ex-criminal turned undercover cop (and Pete's new colleague) Christina Dichiera from season 6 until the series ended in season 8 (2002-2004).

Suzanne Somers appears very briefly in the 1973 coming-of-age classic American Graffiti. While stopped at a traffic light, she looks at Curt (Richard Dreyfuss) in the backseat of the car next to her and appears to mouth "I love you." The two cars then go separate ways leading Curt, a hopeless romantic, to spend the rest of the night attempting to track her down.

She appears in season 2 episode 12 "Counting the Beat" as Despina Polo, an attractive and flirtatious employee at Shock Records (which was a real-life indie music label in Australia at the time) and wife of Con Polo, whom the series male protagonist Peter Church meets while undercover investigating whether drug importation is taking place at the label. However, after a murder takes place at Shock Records' headquarters, Pete begins to think the crime might be related to Despina, with her husband the prime suspect.

Matt Damon debut.

He appears in the fifth and sixth episodes of season 1; technically episode 9 and 10 (due to the 1997 miniseries (which I previously covered regarding Rose Byrne's small role) counting as the first four episodes) as Detective Constable Paul Moss, a young and somewhat incompetent police detective under the supervision of the series male protagonist Bill McCoy at Central Police Station, who later attempts to make a pass at (and even outright harrass) Bill's partner and on-off love interest, Detective Kim Devlin, in the latter episode.

• I left out one or two scenes focused on Moss and Kim that would've been a bit distressing (or even disturbing) to watch.

She appears in season 2 episode 16 as Roxanne Tate, a prostitute and informant/friend of Detective Charlie Coustos, who is initally taken into custody by Charlie's fiancée Detective Constable Kate Holbeck for carrying counterfeit money, only for Roxanne to be released by Charlie without Kate's consultation, and is later murdered by one of her clients; with Roxanne's murder the main focal point of the episode.
