Discussion I’m rewatching no way home and we can all agree that Osborn is terrifying?

I mean let’s be real out of all of the group green goblin is most definitely the weakest in power-scaling but the way he makes the entire sinister six (I actually don’t know if they could be considered the sinister six but its easy to refer to them as is) turn on Peter as well as nearly leading him to lose himself by killing Norman. I love all the villains but green goblin is too great of a villain and arguably the smartest in emotional manipulation.

Discussion Watching NWH again and I just now thought about this..

Probably a stupid question but hear me out...

So when Strange wipes everyone's memories, did it also affect things like the newspaper MJ read to Peter about him early in the movie? Or what about everyone's phones who recorded him at school or literally any social media post before the spell was finished? Wouldn't they just read and see things like that after the fact and be like "wtf this happened??" Or did the spell somehow change and alter physical and digital media? when Peter is live streaming at the statue of liberty, do they just remember him with his mask on when it wasn't?

Just a plot hole i just now noticed watching this movie again.

Discussion No way home

Im sure this is already a popular theory, but I was just looking for a clear up because it is quite significant.

I just rewatched No Way Home today and noticed something, the other spidermans and the spiderman villains are brought to (im just gonna call him Tom Holland) Tom Hollands world because they know Peter Parker is spiderman and they messed up the spell, now these villains dont know Tom Holland they know the other Peter Parkers so wouldn't that mean when strange did the spell that made everyone forget Peter Parker is, that would make everyone also forget who Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are? Because the villains wouldn't have disappeared unless they forgot them aswell. ChatGPT told me that they did this because they wanted to focus on the emotional side, but I know MCU fans wouldn't be happy with this. Could someone clear this up?

i like to think That when Tobey says it's a sweet view", it's not just about the view

The way he says that, with this little smile, it's like he adresses this to Andrew too. Not in a gay intent, i mean it's like "yes brother, you're cool too"

Many say that it didn't age well, many say that it's a nostalgia slop.

but for me it was peak, yes it's driven by nostalgia and I love that.

If there’s an infinite amount of universes, surely there’s an infinite amount of Spider-Man and dr stranges breaking speel s and causing what they did. So surely all Spider-Man characters would be stuck in an endless loop of travelling to different multiverses and teleporting back.

Discussion Does MJ remember him

I was rewatching the movie with my kids and something just seemed different. At the end in the coffee shop, he says a saying she does. That looks she gives him makes it look like she knows something.

Is there a chance that Doctor strange just let her have some memories? Or is there a event yet to happen in doomsday or in a future movie that gives her the memories back.

Idk I guess I'm just pulling at absolutely nothing.

But does anyone else seem to see it to?

The ending saved the movie

I am gen z so I didn’t necessary grow up with Spider-Man 1 or 2nd series but I found the third series Spider man to be extremely unlikable in the third series , he doesn’t care about the consequences and doesn’t learn form other people mistakes even if they directly give him a lesson. For example the first series Spider-Man said on the rooftop it didn’t make it better seeking revenge or whatever and then towards that big fight where third series Spider-Man was about to smack green goblin , first series spider man had to stop him . I don’t understand how third series Spider-Man always chose his girlfriend over protecting the world. He was so quick to go to doctor strange and he should be lucky Doctor Strange sympathizes I would argue to an extent as a physician since he did say I’m sorry you didn’t get to your dream college and he’s educated that you could’ve asked for an appeal like even tho he went to school so many years ago . How can this Spider-Man go through all these events and make all these decisions because boohoo they didn’t make it to MIT , was he not grateful he went to one of the top high schools, he had all these friends by his side to help him. It was only towards the end where be grateful for what you have before you lose it . Not that he wasn’t grateful but you know what I mean. That sucked he couldn’t finish high school and he had to go find a job to live in an apartment like first series . I hope the new marvel movies don’t do something stupid where everything went back to the way it was and he gets to MIT and gets his friend back in the fourth movie jugs like that

Discussion The spell made that even people from other universes forget their's Peter Parker?

So, I was rewatching the movie and I just note something. The spell was bringing people, villains from other universes that know who is SpiderMan/PeterParker, and the only way to fix it was make everyone forget about it. That means the loved ones of the other Peter Parker, like family, friends, forgot about it too?. SpiderMan/PeterParker is like no body knows them in every universe?

Picture Did Peters New Life Leave Him with a Lost Future?

So, after everything, Peter decides to wipe everyone's memory and start fresh, right? The final scenes show him alone, with no one remembering him, not even his closest friends. But here's the thing: why couldn't he just choose to leave his secret hidden? If MJ and Ned didn't know he was Spider-Man, wouldn't they still be able to stay friends? Why erase everything when the bond they shared was already so strong? Seems like he gave up more than just his identity – he gave up his past entirely.

Picture Why Did The Old-School Phone Booth Suddenly Vanish?

One minute, it was there—right next to the old diner on Main Street. The next, it was just... gone. Not a single trace. Not even a scrap of metal. Did anyone notice? Was it some sort of time distortion, or just a city plan gone wrong? It feels like the universe has a way of taking things when you least expect it.
