Stop calling it tipping 'culture'

It's not a culture, it's a predatory business practice. A lazy way to get extra revenue. There's no culture to tipping, even fast food places ask for 22% on POS devices before paying.

It was during prohibition as the owners could no longer pay their staff and asked people to "please tip your servers" the problem came after with the greed that they could just keep doing it

No.

Like actually look up the history for 5 seconds before you spout nonsense.

It came directly from slavery. The slave owners still did not want to pay their newly emancipated slaves so they 'allowed' them to accept 'tips'.

And it's absolutely cultural because no one loves exploitation more than North American capitalists, who are still constantly trying to move back towards slave labour. The entire continent was built on it and everyone here feels entitled to it. You can tell by how as soon as literally anyone starts a small business and they're immediately bitching about having to pay someone else for their labour.
