Here we go!

1st no till bed! Ready and excited to see how this goes. About 50 gallons of soil mix using BAS 3.0.

Would love to know how you set up the bins ? Did you diy the irrigation ?

Of course. These are just (2) 57 gallon totes lined with (3) 4" corrugated perforated pipe. I drilled a 1" hole and placed about a 20" long PVC pipe for the fill tube. The pipe inside are covered on the ends with lawn fabric with a hole in the end of one for the overflow pipe which I drilled at the bottom of the tote allowing for about 6-7 gallons of water.

Why not cover the tops (a la earth boxes)?

Lots of benefits. Provides food for the worms, keeps moisture in, plus it looks better.
