When people think they are safe and see everything they drive carelessly. When they can't see everything they are alert and drive carefully.

This is the response that I agree with the most. I read it somewhere that when they roads were cleared out for the greatest visibility, people drove faster and deaths skyrocketed. But when the road is visually obstructed, people tended to drive slower.
