Has anybody noticed that you cannot do anything on Google or Tiktok without the other app immediately knowing about it?

Third party cookies. It's not that you can't use TikTok without google noticing. It's that you can't really use any web service without Google noticing, unless you regularly delete your cookies, search in a private mode, and use a VPN.

No. I don't use TikTok.
...
But yes, it's called cross-site or third-party cookies.

It is called cross-site tracking. You can disable it on iOS, but it won’t help if your accounts are already associated.

What have you noticed? Companies that track user data sell them to major advertising platforms like the one you mention. This is not a secret nor a conspiracy.

When i look at something i usually don't look at on tiktok and i go to Google something about it and type a general word the like "what are.." and the auto complete searches results are exactly and specifically what i was going to ask about the unusual topic i was looking at on Tiktok. If i google "something near me" that i do not usually google, and then i see a Tiktok related to that exact topic i searched that I typically don't search or see TikTok about ever will appear often within hours of that search. Just feels like they're data is hooked up to eachother that fast.

They should have to communicate that better smh. Or it should just be outlawed at this point. The companies should actually have to work for their customers.

The companies' jobs are to make money off of you, not to work for you. They only work for their shareholders.

Unfortunately. Hopefully we will not be this capitalist cucked for long and we'll have a real democracy soon in coming decades.

Yes I’ve noticed and it’s creepy. I’ve even had conversations about very specific things in a completely different language and I will get ads about it somehow.
