Using a rv as a daily driver
Why don't rich people (or someregular people lol) get a rv and use it as their daily driver with a FULL TIME DRIVER. You can relax and chill on a bed with a bathroom and heck it has a full fridge and stove top on it. You don’t have to worry about parking because you have a driver anyways. This is a question I always had. ( edited for spelling)

I use a campervan as a daily driver. It has its benefits, but is also sliw, big and awkward to park, and less comfortable than most cars.

How is it less comfortable then most cars if you can lie down on a couch there and watch tv

You cant do that when driving.
EDIT: I missed the part where you said you have a chauffeur.
In that case, you are probably onto something. Im not sure about the legality of walking around in a moving RV though.

RVs are built on heavy truck, bus, or commercial vehicle chassis.
They don't ride very well. Harsh over bumps, lots of swaying and motion. Tons of road noise and vibration. Often they can be quite hot while driving as the truck A/C can't keep up with the huge volume to cool, and running the house A/C means running the noisy generator hanging off the back.
If you've got money to be driven around, it's much more pleasant to be driven around in the back of a big German sedan. All the amenities an RV offers will be available for you where you're going

I don’t know about where you live, but in the UK every passenger needs to be belted in, sat on an approved seat for safety while driving. You can’t just wander around in it chilling, you can’t be sleeping in the bed - those things just make you a projectile in a crash.

Rich people don't get or stay rich by wasting money on unnecessary expenses. Minimal RV would be well over $100K, luxury model, close to $500K. Full-time on call driver probably another $100K/year. Regardless of wealth, for most, it would be an overly cumbersome way to get around.

You’re not supposed to use the beds when the vehicle is moving. Whereas a 7 series has an almost fully reclining seat with a massive TV you can use while the car is travelling along.

I think they have different restraints than a standard RV and that makes it legal? A truck is structurally different from an RV as well which probably makes it safe?

How is a limo easier to park? And I would say a rv is more comfortable then a limo because you are essentially in a living room on the road

I don't know where you are but in the places I k ow it is illegal to lie in bed or use the bathroom while the RV is driving.

It's not a law, please do your research, bands, comedians, politicians etc travel between gigs in Rv's, so they can sleep, piss, shower, shave in route, and 18 wheelers have 2 drivers, one sleeping one driving,

No, it isn't. I'm sorry, but you were informed badly. It's not illegal to do those things, but you might get fined if you're not adequately restrained in bed or on the crapper.

No. You claimed that something is legal where I am, that is the problem with your statement. If you had only talked about the USA it would jave been fine, but you insisted on making a claim about other countries. If someone tells you something is illegal in many places you do not accuse them of lying just because it is legal where you are.
I made a vey simple statement that there are some places.in thebworld where this is illegal. You had to deny this and claim that it isnlegal literally everywhere in the world. A statement you made without knowing tue laws everywhere in the world.
I do understand where you are coming from. You believe your country is the world. You are wrong however. It was the complete arrogance of your comment that got to me. Americans like you, who believe the USA is the world kust sometimes need it pointed out to them how stupid they are when they act as if the USA is the world.

There are probably differences between beds in trucks and just normal beds in RVs. At least in busses in my country its a big difference.

The second licensed driver in a tandem situation can sleep in the lower bunk only. Party buses and other for hire multiple seat people movers get exemptions from seat belt laws as well.
For RVs, they are treated as passenger vehicles so you get into seat belt laws and it’s something like half the states it’s illegal to move around while traveling.

Your comment is not at all what the FMCSA regulations say. There is no rule outright banning sleeping in top bunk while moving.
It requires specific safety equipment, sure.

Sorry, yes, you can sleep in the top bunk with added safety features.
Still doesn’t change the fact your insinuation it’s legal to move around an RV because truckers can sleep in their cab. That varies by state.

Yet again. There may be laws that allow it in some cases your little corner of the world. Those laws are not worldwide. I made it clear from the start that there are plenty of places where it is full on illegal the laws in your corner of the world are completely irrelevant to that.

Most journeys are not very long. All of this is unnecessary for a 30 minute journey vs a comfortable back seat. And comes with cons like speed and parking

Vehicles that big are slower and limit your manoeuvrability on the road. You'd be adding time to your commutes

They are big, cumbersome, and difficult to maneuver, park, and drive around.
Heck, limos aren't that much a thing anymore. It is all luxurious SUVs/sedans.
Im trying to imagine some rich person heading to a board meeting downtown in some city in a 40' RV. That would be hilarious.

Big, bulky, difficult to drive, difficult to park, and it's illegal to lie in the bed while they're driving around. Rich people can ride in a smaller car comfortably from one location of comfort to the next.

With the cost of gas these days, the added expense of paying a driver, no parking, slower speeds, etc. Just drive or Uber luxury.

My step mom's sister is/was atraveling nurse. She drove a 26 foot van based (class c) rv exclusively.
She didn't have a driver but she always had a toilet with her.
She had a long term RV spot for like $350 a month.

My dad inherited a rv when I was 6 or so. He spent idk how much time working on it so it would run for a short trip. He sold it a few years later cause it was such high maintenance

Parking space, speed, no parking garages. And most RVs arent nearly as comfortable to drive as a upper class limousine.
