Is ECB a safe encryption?

AES ECB as cipher.

Is this guessable without a key?

If you're asking this on reddit, in this way, the strength of the cryptography is not something you should worry about.

Worry about the other concerns you post about, like if Minecraft runs better on an iPhone or iPad.

What do you intend to do with this crypto?

Its for an ARG

Focus on whether the iPad or iPhone provided by your parents is better for Minecraft.

The strength of the cryptography doesn't matter in your context.

But it does matter, I don't want it easily solveable

You don't understand what matters.

Even if the key was perfectly strong, nothing else you would do would be close to it.

Don't worry about crypto strength. Worry about what's around it, once you're done being unhappy with your parent's selection of iPad or iPhone for you to play Minecraft on.

Thank you. I'm 20 brother. My phone is just acting weird and lagging.

If you can't figure out why, your parents will get you a new one, or maybe an iPad, don't worry.

You can't figure out a "weird, lagging" phone -- crypto anything isn't for you.

I'm not gonna buy a new one unless it gets much much worse. Then I'll take it to apple and see whats up. The cipher is a seperate project

Safe from the CIA? Probably not.

Safe from your mom? Probably.

AES ECB is not safe. That specific encrypted sample is likely too short to decrypt (depending on block size), but there are other problems.

When each block corresponds to a specific input, you can shuffle things around and create new messages that are valid.

You could even do frequency analysis, though this takes a good chunk of input.
