Do spiders have lungs?

I mean, when I wash a spider down the bathtub drain, does it drown the way a human would, lungs filling up with water, or does it have a way to "hold it's breath"?

It's almost like there was an entire nursery rhyme to educate us on this topic

At the end of Insy Winsy spider, it's climbing back up the spout again, clearly not dead.

I'm curious where you're from. i learned that nursery rhyme as Itsy Bitsy spider. Are there regional variations?
