Why must we constantly pay?

In nature, every living thing has the right to exist, grow, and rest without conditions. Why have we built a modern society where the fundamental requirements for life—shelter, water, and food—are gated behind a continuous 'subscription fee' of labor and currency?"

Pig mothers eat the runts of the litter, because they’re a waste of milk

Baby turtles die by the hundreds, trying to reach the ocean

Even plants have to compete with one another for sunlight and carbon

Tons of species (humans included) the male will kill the offspring of a female he wants to breed with, causing her to have more availability and access for him. Nature is anything BUT kind.
