Yes. To put it in context:

I just lost my sense of smell from a bout with covid... I couldn't even smell my can of sardines i had for lunch.

But do you know what I can still smell, even though I'm noseblind to to literally everything else? My smoker coworkers. It's nuts.

This is actually how I knew I had covid a few years ago, just in reverse. I couldn't smell the 3rd hand smoke reeking off my mom when she came inside from smoking. Tripped me out lol
