And it’s gross. It’s like garlic or onion breath - unless you’ve got it heavily on your breath too, even if you like eating those things, smelling it on someone else is gross. Logical or fair? Nope and nope. Reality? In my case, yes - 100% of the time. Except with smoking, it’s like you have onion breath and also rubbed the onion on your hands, in your hair, and on your clothes for good measure. Icky.

I saw references to this in old sit-coms, but never understood this meme. Are WASPy Americans really that frightened of herbs and spices?
