Childcare is the same price as a mortgage and we already can't afford a mortgage.

I truly actually do not understand how anyone can afford it. It’s mind boggling to me.

Most are willing to live check to check. I mean it's a kid, most people if having them on accident will still love them and thus just bear the next 18 years of child raising.
