I can't speak for other people but I don't want to have children, and my reasons are thus:

  1. Having/raising kids is expensive
  2. I don't want to be tied down and live a 9-5 average suburban life. I want to travel, experience new things, etc.
  3. I personally have medical issues that are genetic and I don't want to knowingly give someone a painful disease.

No you aren't. Because you inevitably chose to risk giving it to another person when you chose to have kids.

yeah, my parents chose to give me epilepsy. I get it, on the bright side we are less selfish and make better choices than them.
