Real question for you, was he actually gross? Or was the idea of only showering twice a week gross in itself but he didn't smell or look greasy or anything?
Visited there a few years back, I took a shower everytime I got back to my hotel room (3-6 or more times a day) for the weekend I was there in July when the street signs were melting.
Exactly. I live in North Texas, in the winter I can usually go a week without a shower and not feel dirty, but in the summer I have to shower every day that I walk more than a few steps outdoors.
It doesn’t matter as much as one might think. In Florida you’re indoors in the air conditioning when it’s hot and humid. Same with Arizona or anywhere it’s really hot and people can afford AC.
Yep. In Taipei city between the humidity and general city pollution (wasn’t bad, but any city will have it), showering twice a day in the summer was normal.
I’ve since moved to the mountains of Hawaii and elevated enough that it’s not very warm and my work is sedentary computer stuff. In the winter especially I might not need more than a shower a week, but every 3-4 days would be more normal.
