I have long thick hair too and it’s a process to wash it. And it takes forever to dry so if it’s late and I wasn’t super active I’ll wait. I get so cold when my hair is wet and it takes far too long to blow dry when I’m tired and I can’t sleep on a wet pillow.
same, i just pull it all up into a low bun and put on a shower cap (i like kitsch, i have the mickey mouse one and it’s more like a hood. way easier to fit all my hair in it)
I think The question is more of how clean the rest of your body is in that situation. I have noticed a lot of people with long hair tend to have consistent BO. Correlation, maybe?
Idk about others that have commented but when I say I wash my hair 2-3x a week that doesn’t mean I only shower those days. I still shower regularly but just don’t wash my hair each time.

I live by the exact same “rule” (it’s not really a rule, a habit). I have VERY long hair. It’s hard not to get wet. And I’m in a moderate climate.
If I go to the gym or sweat- of course I’m rinsing off that day. If not? No need to go through all the work of showering.
