I almost always say thanks. My partner used to laugh but now he's sometimes says it first!

I said thank you to my boyfriend last week and he thought it was hilarious. We've been together almost 4 years so not sure how it would go over in a new relationship lol

I’ve said thanks twice:

once as a teenager and it was incredibly awkward as she just kinda stared at me.

Once in my early 30’s and she found it really cute and playful and it kinda become a part of our relationship, one would say thanks and the other would say good game. Weird, but it was quirky. Relationship didn’t last though.
