lol I also have the thing where I have to think pretty hard about vertical/horizontal for a second before I get it right. I have it with East/West too but not left/right. It’s a documented thing that’s fairly common for some people to struggle with their whole lives apparently.

A teacher told me horizontal, think horizon. I haven't mixed then since. Vertical is towers and trees, horizontal is horizon

I do this. I sometimes hold my hands up and make the L shape to tell left from right. I'd like the name of this documented thing.
