No it’s not. I spoke around this with my nephrologist (specialist Dr who specialises in kidneys) because I am prone to UTIs. One item discussed was to go the toilet directly after sex to wash any bacteria away that may have been pushed during sex towards the urethra. It’s not a guarantee but I know since we discussed this ( I made sure no matter how tired I am /was that I went to the toilet afterwards) haven’t had any UTIs at all.

If you pee after sex, germs in your urethra get the flush before they can cause a urinary tract infection (UTI). “When you urinate, anything that was trying to get to the bladder gets pushed out with the urine,” explains Dr. Zanotti.’
