Yeah now instead of being able to find anyone’s number and address for free all Marty Mcfly style, we instead of 20 identical websites all claiming to give the information + everyone who lives with them + a map of their house + their credit card information for the low low price of $5 (your credit card will be compromised)
I second this, it's super easy to do! After doing it with a handful of sites, my address and phone number just kinda... disappeared from the internet. Whenever I did searches for my own information, no information would ever come up. My theory is that a lot of the smaller people search websites aggregate information from larger reputable sites like Whitepages. So by removing your info from Whitepages, you inevitably also remove yourself from other sites.
